Patsy Kensit’s fifth engagement came to an end less than a year after business manager Patric Cassidy popped the question and bringing to an end her dream of a fifth wedding.
The romantic u-turn means that 55-year-old Patsy won’t be walking down the aisle or saying 'I do' for a fifth time after all.
The EastEnders actress has been married four times previously - with a rock star and a DJ among the former husbands the TV star has had.

Patsy first got married in 1988 when she was 20 years old when she tied-the-knot with keyboardist Dan Donovan, 60.
The musician was a member of Big Audio Dynamite - which was founded in 1984 by former lead guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the Clash, Mick Jones.
But Patsy and Dan’s marriage lasted only three years and they were divorced in 1991 - but Patsy didn’t wait long to tie-the-knot again.

The second man lucky enough to call himself Mr Patsy Kensit was 64-year-old Scottish musician Jim Kerr of the band Simple Minds.
Jim and Patsy tied-the-knot in 1992 - just a year after she had ended her previous marriage to Dan Donovan.
The couple welcomed a son named James together in 1993 - but the relationship cooled and the pair ultimately split and divorced in 1996.

In 1995, Patsy started dating rock superstar Liam Gallagher of the band Oasis - and the pair decided to tie-the-knot two-years later.
Patsy and Liam welcomed a son named Lennon together in September 1999 - whose godmother is none other than model and actress Elizabeth Hurley.
But Patsy and Liam’s marriage was not to last either - and the pair divorced in the year 2000.

Patsy’s next husband was DJ Jeremy Healy who she had been friends with since her own singing days when she was in the pop band Eighth Wonder in the 1980s.

The pair remained friends over the years and began dating in 2007 - and they announced their engagement that same year.
The couple split in 2008 and called off the wedding, only to reconcile and swap vows in April 2009 - but they split again in 2010 and divorced.

Fans of Patsy were surprised to learn earlier this year that she had become engaged to businessman Patric Cassidy when he asked her to marry him while dining out in Mayfair last September.
The engagement was made more formal - and even more romantic - when Patric proposed on a beach and with a giant diamond ring in February this year.
But the pair called things off by July - with a spokesperson declaring in a statement: “I can confirm they have split, and would appreciate that she is given her privacy regarding the matter. She is currently very busy working.”

While Patsy has been married four times, she previously declared that she only considered her marriage to Jim Kerr and Liam Gallagher as significant, saying in a podcast: "I can't change the rules of the law... [but] I was with Jim, and Lennon's dad for years, so I kind of count them as my two marriages."
