Asda started stocking the flavour in stores nationwide on July 24.

But some shoppers are only just realising the retailer has brought back the nostalgic treat.

Taking to Facebook, one fan tagged their relative in a comment saying: "Omg these were the BEST if you go there first you HAVE to buy some xx."

A second sweet-toothed fan said: "I remember having these years ago and they were amazing."

Meanwhile, a third added: "At last!!!!! Been waiting 20 years for these to come back!!"

Muller Corner first launched the Mississippi Mud Pie flavour in 1997 but it was last seen in 2018.

The pudding comes with a creamy toffee and coffee-flavoured yoghurt with the iconic chocolate corner crumble.

The flavour is so popular, fans have created their own Facebook page calling for the discontinued product to make a comeback.

Posting on the Bring back Muller Mississippi Mud Pie Yogurts page, one person said: "Is it actually back? What stores? Is this true?"

Another added: "I've missed this yoghurt so much! Don't you ever discontinue again."

Shoppers can bag one of the Muller yoghurts, which comes in a 124g size, for 90p.

Muller is not the only brand to delight and shock fans by bringing back retro favourites.

Pizza Hut recently announced the return of two discontinued menu items after nearly a decade.

And shoppers are only just realising an iconic 90s discontinued food is back in supermarkets.

In other retail news, a major supermarket chain is closing several stores within weeks.

Plus, Dunelm shoppers have been rushing to buy a "terrific" home essential scanning for £17 instead of £69.
