It's official - Emma Bunton's teenage son Beau has a girlfriend.
The 16-year-old has reportedly found romance with Grace Freeman, the daughter of renowned actor Martin Freeman and his ex-wife, Amanda Abbington. Beau appeared to confirm the relationship earlier this month, after sharing a Instagram post of him and his 15-year-old sweetheart at his lavish birthday party.
In another photo, the GCSE student has his arms wrapped affectionately around Grace as she takes a mirror selfie of them together. It remains unknown how long the adorable couple, both of whom live in London with their families, has been dating.
Grace's father, Martin, has enjoyed an industrious and long-spanning career in Hollywood, with credits in everything from The Office to Love Actually. The 51-year-old, who is now in a relationship with 29-year-old actress Rachel Mariam, has also won an Emmy, a BAFTA and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Emma, 47, also made a rare shout-out to Beau earlier this week to mark the milestone birthday. As well taking to her Stories to pay tribute to the teenager, she also shared a proud video him diving into crystal blue water. "We are so proud of you. Love you to bits," she captioned the heartfelt post.
'My New Year's Day birthday sucks - I hate that people are always hungover'"My gorgeous boy is 16! We are bursting with pride at the man you have become. Loving, king and the light in our family. We love you so much," she wrote, before punctuating the message with a red heart emoji.
Emma and husband Jade Jones, who tied the knot in 2021 after over two decades together, are also the doting parents of 12-year-old Tate Lee.
Speaking about her hopes for her children's future in a recent interview, the Spice Girls singer vowed to support both of her kids in whatever career they pursue.
"I feel very lucky that being in the industry I have learned a lot along the way," she told the Mail Online. "My mum, bless her, didn't know anything about the business but the love, support, travelling with me, that was needed. But my children no matter what industry they go in, I will protect them. I am a bit of a mama bear and I will protect them to the end."
