PREGNANT Lucy Watson has been mum-shamed by online trolls as she revealed her unborn baby's "diet".

The former Made in Chelsea star recently announced she is expecting her first child with her husband, James Dunmore.

In a A&A session on her Instagram Lucy revealed she plans to raise her "miracle baby" as a vegan.

A fan asked whether the star will bring up her child on the same diet that she follows.

Lucy responded: "Yes, our baby will be vegan."

Her fans won't be surprised by the news because the influencer has spent her entire life advocating for animal rights and vegetarianism.

It comes only days after Lucy denied rumours that due to her being a strict vegetarian, it affected her fertility issues and delayed her from being pregnant.

In a recent Q&A with fans, Lucy opened up about her battle with fertility and how "challenging" it was for her to become pregnant.

She was asked by fan what it's like being vegan whilst also being pregnant.

Lucy responded by admitting that she has experienced backlash because of the connections between her fertility and being vegan.

The lifestyle influencer wrote: "I've had many people along this journey tell me you need to give up the vegan diet, it's stopping you getting pregnant.

"That is not the case. There are people who are crack addicts and get pregnant. Being vegan is not going to stop you."

Despite Lucy's defence of her strict diet, many reacted strongly to the news in the comments section.

One wrote: "Surely the kid should get to choose?"

A second added: "No midwife will agree to this so she can plan it all she likes but it will be considered child neglect."

A third commented: "This really is not a good idea... yes they can choose when they're older but as babies and toddlers they need as much of a varied diet as possible."

A fourth raged: "Remember that Australian couple who went to jail cos they had their kid on a strict vegan diet and it was malnourished…? Perhaps rethink your plan Lucy Watson."

A fifth fumed: "Shame on you! Unfit mother. Let the child decide when they are old enough. Babies and children NEED proper food..not grass."

The 32-year-old, who is married to James Dunmore, shared the happy news last week on social media.

Posting a picture of James cradling her baby bump, Lucy wrote: “Our little miracle.”

Her famous pals rushed to congratulate her, with Towie star Georgia Kousoulou writing: “Oh my lovely news.”

Lucy’s sister Tiffany said: “I’m so happy and excited, can’t wait! Love you both so much.”

The reality TV star met her husband James on Made in Chelsea in 2015 and they tied the knot in Greece in 2021.

Lucy featured on the Channel 4 show for four years before leaving in 2016 after a major disagreement with Stephanie Pratt.
