EASTENDERS icon Michelle Collins has lifted the lid on behind the scenes rows with her co-star Adam Woodyatt.

The soap stars are set to reunite on screen for the first time in 25 years after Cindy Beale - played by Michelle - returned to Walford last night.

Appearing on tonight's The One Show, Michelle admitted that the biggest change to their working relationship is that they no longer row.

Recalling how she and on-screen hubby Adam would bicker endlessly on set in the 90s, Michelle said: "We don't row anymore. We used to row all the time. We'd kind of grown up together. We used to bicker. They used to call us George and Mildred.

"We used to row all the time. We were very different, but now it's kind of come full circle. We've both been through so much in our lives as people and I think we respect each other so much now. I love Adam, I'm so fond of Adam. He's been so supportive."

Indeed, Adam was the first person Michelle spoke to on the phone in a celebratory call last year on which they both shared their delight at the news.

Enders fans revelled in the chaos of Cindy's grand comeback.

She paid a visit to her mother-in-law Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who was gobsmacked by the surprise appearance.

It wasn't long until the pair were throwing insults at each other, after Cindy explained she had been in France with her son Ian and grandson Peter.

A fuming Kathy accused Cindy of being a bad mother for not doing her time in prison after being jailed for conspiracy to murder and missing her children growing up.

While inside, Cindy testified against her gangster cellmate Jackie Ford and was moved into witness protection.

The cover story at the time was that she had died during childbirth.

Kathy then asked if Peter stole money from her to give to Cindy and branded her a "money-grabbing tart."

Cindy gave Kathy some home truths as she recalled the time when Kathy faked her death as part of an insurance claim plan for her family.

She shouted at Kathy for always putting herself first and claimed it turned her son, Ben Mitchell, into a "psycho."

Kathy then slapped Cindy across the face and Cindy slapped her back.
