He was already chiselled during his first stint, but was noticeably leaner in his second, which he put down to his own training programs and ambassadorship with fitness brands.
In an exclusive chat he told The Sun: “I've always found the gym a way to deal with whatever else is going on.
"I was overweight as a kid and decided when I got older that I wanted to turn things around for myself.
“I'm not fully happy with myself now, I always want to try to improve, but I think that's the beauty of it.

Gabby Allen
Gabby has focused on her training and fitness programmes since the showPersonal trainer Gabby, 31, turned heads in the villa with her toned, athletic figure when she entered in 2017.
Despite already looking gorge, she decided to spend more time focusing on her physique in the gym – taking her body to a new level.
The reality star now shows off her even more impressive six-pack in snaps on Instagram, and looks to have gone a few shades blonder.

Harley has focused his attentions on becoming a body builder since the showViewers will remember Harley for coupling up with Camilla Thurlow before being dumped from the villa in the first elimination in 2017.
After leaving the show he embraced a whole new gym regime, becoming a body builder.
The reality star has gained an eye-popping amount of muscle mass and has seemingly doubled in size.
Harley recently told fans he weights 116kg and plans to shed more fat before the competition season.
Zara McDermott
Zara hit the gym after the villaFormer civil servant Zara, 26, decided to overhaul her diet and exercise routine post-Love Island - possibly inspired by the fact she was then dating Adam Collard.
While she was happy with how she looked on the show, she decided she wanted to focus on ensuring she stayed healthy in the future.
She lost 3st over the course of a year and now has an enviable athletic figure and defined abs - which she's been showing off on Strictly Come Dancing.
“When I look in the mirror now, I feel accomplished,” Zara told The Sun.
“It started as a way of adapting to getting older when I suddenly realised I couldn't eat whatever I wanted anymore."
Curtis Pritchard
Curtis turned to comfort eating after his stint on the reality showBallroom star Curtis, 27, put on 2st while in the Love Island villa as he wasn't dancing and confessed to scoffing five slices of cheesecake a night .
He continued binge-eating afterwards and later opened up about feeling fat-shamed by trolls - but thanked them for motivating him to get healthier.
“I've always had my weight on show as a dancer and now coming into the villa, and being even more in the public eye, I got a bit of fat shaming,” he said.
“I’ve always fluctuated with my weight, and I want to create a healthy living lifestyle, something I can maintain. I’ve done crash diets all my life - in one month I could lose a stone-and-a-half and put it all back on again.”
He partnered with Weight Watches to shed the pounds and now boasts a toned torso.
Molly Smith
Molly decided to have a breast enlargement as she felt uncomfortable with her natural boobsBlonde beauty Molly, 26, arrived in Love Island as a Casa Amor bombshell and sensationally stole Callum Jones from Shaughna Phillips - though the couple split last month.
In October 2021 Molly opted to have a breast enlargement after feeling worried that she couldn't fill her bra, going up a cup size from 32B to 32C.
The reality star said trolls targeted her for having a flat chest, but previous modelling agents told her that having cosmetic surgery could prevent her from getting work.
After having the surgery, she wrote on Instagram: “I feel so much more confident in my personal life and in my modelling work now. Everything from the breast size to the profile is perfect for me, and I couldn’t be any happier with the results.”
Jamie Jewitt
The reality star reckons he was too thin when he went into the Love Island villaJamie is now happily married to Love Island beau Camilla Thurlow, 34, and the pair have two children.
But becoming a dad meant Jamie had less time for working out, and he piled on 4st, bringing his weight to 17st 1lb.
The model, 32, posted on social media to tell fans about his change in body and claimed he didn't want to be as thin as he was when he went on the reality show.
Jamie said: "For those asking. During Love Island I was 80kg. 4 stone and 25kg lighter than I am now.
"I don't want to be that thin again, as I personally feel better a little heavier."
He has since slimmed down, believing being fitter and healthier would make him a better dad, and told The Sun he was a healthy 14st 5lbs and happy.
Alexandra Cane
Alex turned to exercise to help cope with anxiety after the villaWhen Alexandra was brought onto Love Island in 2018, she was touted by producers as a “curvy” contestant.
The brunette beauty hooked up with Dr Alex George, but he brutally dumped her just before the final.
After leaving the villa she found exercise a good way to combat her anxiety and ended up overhauling her physique.
Alexandra dropped from 11st to 9st in just three months, and told The Sun: “I never did this to lose weight or look a certain way.
"I’ve always believed that you should strive for self-acceptance, whatever weight you are.
“In Love Island I thought I was healthy, but I look back now and think I couldn't even walk up a hill without getting out of breath.”
