The rundown property, known as Anty Johns, has been empty for about six decades and was listed as a Grade II building in the 1980s.
The family has recently begun renovation work on the house in order to make it more livable.

Giving fans an update on the progress of the family property, Raven posted a video of herself and a friend wearing yellow hard hats.
In the short clip, Raven turns to the camera and reveals that she is on the roof of Anty Johns.
She then shows her followers the new wooden beams that have been installed to support the new roof.
In order to prevent another collapse scenario, a red steel beam can be seen going across the middle of the property.
Raven captioned the video: "Aunty Johns progress. Slowly but surely."
According to reports, Clive and Amanda are working together on this project, which will be featured in a new Channel 4 show.
It comes after it was revealed that Amanda shut Ravenseat's doors to the public earlier this year.
