Normally the latest evictee is greeted by a loved one at the end of the bridge as they leave camp, but viewers were surprised and saddened to see nobody waiting for Nella at the other side.

One wrote on X, formerly twitter: "It was so sad no one was at the bridge waiting for Nella."

"Wasn't a fan of Nella but sad no one was at the bridge waiting for her," added a second.

A third chipped in: "No-one there to greet #Nella at the end of the bridge. I get she's not everyone's fan, but I hope she has some good people around her all the same. We all need that in life."

And a fourth agreed, saying: "Ngl I do feel quite sad that Nella never had anyone waiting for her at the end of the bridge."

It's thought Nella did in fact have a friend in Australia to meet her.

The YouTuber tragically lost both of her parents within four years of each other.

Her mother Eseho Omolongo died of a stroke in August 2016 aged 46, with Nella holding her hand.

Her father Paul Hollela died in 2020 after contracting Covid.

Nella was eliminated second after beating out Marvin Humes, who was in the bottom two with her.

Marvin looked shell-shocked as he learned it could be him going home before Ant and Dec read Nella's name.

Nella gasped and covered her mouth with her hand, before saying her goodbyes.

It was way scarier than I thought," she said of her time in camp during her chat with Ant and Dec.

Speaking about her clashes in camp, she said: "I am not usually put in situations where people come from different walks of life from me...it's kind of shocking sometimes. It is what is is.

On her 'cultural appropriation' row with Nigel Farage, she added: "I think Nigel is an amazing person until he speaks about what he really believes in."

When asked about her 'dad-gate' row with Fred Sirieix, she stood her by reaction.

"I just think in the middle of a disagreement, you shouldn't bring up sensitive topics," Nella said, before admitting "things are so heightened" in camp.
