Who is Sadie King?
Sadie King was played by acclaimed actress Patsy Kensit for the duration of her time on Emmerdale.
Originally called Sadie Sinclair, she arrived in the village in May 2004 as the ex-wife of Jimmy King, played by Nick Miles.
Upon first arrival, it was not clear if the pair were giving things a go or ending their relationship for good as Sadie grew tired of Jimmy's ways despite following him to the village.

After Jimmy insisted that relations between the pair were over for good, she began a steamy affair with Robert Sugden, with their neighbours being none the wiser.
Clearly not a one-man woman, her focus on revenge and the takedown of her family continued when she had sex with Cain Dingle just to spite his former partner Charity who had made a sex tape with Jimmy behind Sadie's back.
When did Sadie King leave Emmerdale?
Sadie did not hang around on the ITV show for too long.
She exited the programme in September 2006, just over two years on from her village arrival.
It came as actress Patsy Kensit quit in order to accept an offer to star in the BBC medical drama Holby City.
She exited during a plot which appeared to show that Cain Dingle had shot her and left her for dead.
However, it was a staged plot and Sadie quickly got up and fled the Dales forever.
Is Sadie King returning?
Sadly for fans, it remains unlikely that Sadie will be back on screens any time soon.
Fans have been hoping for a return amid a revival of the King family with the reintroduction of Sadie and Jimmy's nephew Tom.
Actress Patsy has made no mention of heading back to the Dales and her recent time in EastEnders would suggest that it is off the cards.

Has Patsy Kensit been in any other soaps?
Patsy quit Emmerdale to appear as a nurse, Faye Morton, in Holby City.
She appeared in the role for almost four years between 2007 and 2010.
Patsy went onto enjoy a guest stint on the programme in 2019 as part of their anniversary celebrations.
More recently she has played the role of Lola Pearce's mother, Emma Harding, in EastEnders.
She arrived amid Lola's devastating death storyline in January of this year.
Patsy played the role intermittently throughout the year and last appeared on-screen at the end of September.
