WALKERS fans have been left devastated as the crisps giant confirmed a beloved flavour won't be seen on shelves ever again.

The snack maker apologised to a Walkers lover who said she could not find her favourite Max Fiercely Flamin Hot crisps anywhere.

The girl tweeted: "Are you discontinuing the Walkers Max Flamin Hot??? I cannot find them anywhere.

"They are literally out of stock everywhere."

The team at Walkers Crisps later replied: "We’re sorry, but Max Flamin Hot is no longer part of our range.

"We'll let our team know you've been asking."

The Max Flamin Hot chop comes just days after Walkers axed another crisp flavour from shelves "with no notice".

The company has told customers that it's no longer making a favourite Quavers flavour that only returned two years ago.

The comment was in response to a fan asking what happened to salt and vinegar flavour Quavers.

"I can’t find them anywhere," they said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Walkers replied: "We’re sorry to break it to you Linda, but we’re not making this flavour anymore."

The retro flavour first joined Walkers' lineup back in 1993 and returned to shelves in 2021 along with prawn cocktail Quavers after demands from crisp lovers.

The fan responded: "And with no notice. This is a sad day".

Lovers of the soon-to-be-gone flavour include celebrity cook Nigella Lawson.

Shortly after the crisp flavour's return she tweeted: "Why have I only just now discovered salt & vinegar Quavers?"

Others were not quite so convinced.

After spotting the lunch essential, comedian Tim Vine said: "Just trying to decide if salt and vinegar flavoured Quavers are a good idea or the beginning of the apocalypse."

But since the comeback, the crisps have built up a cult following.

One fan branded them "the best crisps ever" and added: "if they stop making these salt and vinegar quavers again, they are mad".

It comes after Walkers confirmed its Worcester sauce flavour crisps is "no longer part of our range" leaving shoppers miffed.

Plus the beef and onion flavour was discontinued last year.

The crisp brand also revealed that it's made a major change to the recipe of its Thai Sweet Chilli Sensations - and fans are not happy about it.

Meanwhile, discos crisps fans were devastated when they learned a hugely popular flavour had been discontinued.

The iconic brand are famous for their yummy salt and vinegar treat, but left savoury snackers fuming after revealing a much-loved edition had been axed.

Shoppers were becoming increasingly baffled as to why they couldn't find any Bacon Discos crisps on the shelves.

A confused customer wrote to the KP Snacks manufacturer on X and asked: "What happened to bacon flavoured Discos and do you ever plan on bringing them back?"

To which a spokesperson sadly announced: "Unfortunately the popularity of this snack has been on a downward trend for a while, therefore, sadly, production was no longer commercially viable and the product had to be discontinued.

"We have no plans in producing these again in the near future. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news."
