SILENT Witness fans have raged at the BBC not prioritising the show after its slot was canceled tonight in a scheduling shake up.
The crime drama airs weekly on Monday and Tuesday nights, but this week the second installment has been pushed back to Wednesday.

However, some people have taken to social media complaining that their viewing schedule for the week has been thrown off.

Part of the reason why viewers are on tenterhooks is because Monday night's episode ended with a cliffhanger.
DI John Flynn and Elinor Shaw were left investigating the mysterious death of a man who was discovered dead by the Thames.
He seemed to have been impaled by a wooden post, but someone put false information in the toxicology report to make it look like an accident.
The victim's wife was then targeted next, but managed to escape by the skin of her teeth after hiding in a laundry basket.
