EX-SCOTLAND captain Stuart Hogg was arrested at his estranged wife’s house hours after being pictured with celebs at the Calcutta Cup.
He was lifted over allegations he caused fear and alarm by acting in a threatening or abusive manner on Sunday afternoon.

The previous night the rugby hero was seen mingling with celebrity pals like Martin Compston and TV’s MasterChef host Gregg Wallace in the hospitality zone at Murrayfield where his former team-mates defeated England in a Six Nations showdown.
He shared the snaps on his Instagram page, saying: “What a day. What a result. Cracking performance from the lads.”

He was later released and a report submitted to prosecutors ahead of an expected court appearance at a date still to be determined.

Hogg is one of Scotland’s most celebrated rugby stars having earned 100 caps and became the nation's all-time leading try scorer.
He was given an MBE by the King in the New Year’s Honours list.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.40pm on Sunday, 25 February, police were called to an address in Hawick.
“A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged. He was released on an undertaking to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
