THE BBC have revealed the fate of a popular comedy series staring a Gavin and Stacey legend as the show's creator gave a message to fans.

The renewal comes as part of a double recommission, which also included the second series of the show.
The upcoming third series will consist of 7 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes, and will also feature a Christmas special.

Tom Basden, known for his work on After Life, created and stars in the series.
The second season will bring back a talented ensemble cast, including Jim Howick from Ghosts, Katherine Parkinson from The IT Crowd, and Alison Steadman from Gavin & Stacey, as well as Freya Parks, Jude Collie, Mica Ricketts, and Tori Allen-Martin from London Kills.
The Independent praised the show as a 'must-watch' comedy, while The Telegraph called it a 'comic masterpiece'.
The series will keep following the Jessops as they deal with life's ups and downs.
Speaking about the show's return, Creator Tom Basden, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to bring the relentlessly chaotic Jessop family back to BBC One for more homespun triumphs and disasters, and can’t wait to work with such a brilliant and hilarious cast once again.”

The first episode which aired in April, 2022 showed a chaotic family celebrating mom Rachel's birthday.
Teen son Sam filmed all the arguing, craziness, and personal drama on his camcorder.
But at the time - the comedy show left viewers unimpressed - with some complaining they had to switch off before the end.
