THE One Show fans were left "bawling" at an 'incredibly emotional' One Big Thank You segment which aired last night.
BBC viewers were once again welcomed to the live show by hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp.
During the episode, Alex Jones surprised four people who gained a bond for life following a near-death experience on a plane.
The 47-year-old TV star and her co-host introduced the One Big Thank You section by explaining that Mike Butcher was jetting off to a sunny holiday in Portugal when he, unfortunately, stopped breathing and suffered a medical emergency on board.
At that moment, everyone around him was unaware that he had gone into a cardiac arrest, but the brave cabin crew quickly sprung into action by rushing to his side and giving him CPR while waiting for the emergency services to arrive.

Fortunately, the CPR administered saved Mike's life before he was rushed to hospital by medical professionals.
After the incident, Mike recovered in hospital but was keen to thank the cabin crew who had saved his life.
Mike's request prompted The One Show to step in and reunite them all as a surprise.
Viewers witnessed him being reduced to tears as he discussed the fateful day with Alex before getting the chance to meet the brave cabin crew who stepped in and rescued him.
When Alex informed Mike that "those three angels" were waiting to greet him from behind a curtain, everyone became overwhelmed with emotion.
As he saw them approaching, Mike immediately rushed over to hug the women, who were in floods of tears.
One told him, "I'm never going to let you go!" to which he replied with gratitude, "Thank you, you literally saved my life."
As the segment aired, BBC viewers took to X (Twitter) and expressed that the One Big Thank You segment had tugged at their heartstrings.
One user wrote: "Incredibly emotional segment. The very best in humanity."
