MARVEL star Jeremy Renner has been filmed bruised and slurring in his hospital bed as he breaks his silence following a horror accident.
The Hawkeye star, 51, was crushed by a 6.5-ton snowplough as he tried to clear snowy roads for his family on New Year's Day.

As his sister massaged his scalp and joked: "You're so sexy," the Hollywood actor slurred his words and replied that he was having his first shower since the accident.
Appearing to be out of it, he said: "That's the first shower in definitely a week," adding: "So gross."

"Thank you mama. Thank you sister. Thank all for you. For your love."
In the video, he is seen propped up in bed wearing an oxygen mask, while his sibling rubs his head over a shampoo shower cap.
Sharing the same clip on Twitter with his six million followers, Renner wrote: "A 'not no [sic] great' ICU day turned to amazing spa day with my sis and mama. Thank you sooooo much."
Earlier, his Instagram account shared the first photo of Renner on his hospital bed with his 19 million followers.
Alongside the picture, he wrote: "Thank you all for your kind words. I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
Renner was run down by a seven-ton snow plough on New Year's Day as he battled to free a trapped family member from the immense snow drifts surrounding his home in Lake Tahoe, California.
Authorities said Renner tried to use the snow plough to free a relative whose vehicle had become stuck in the snow.
After getting out of the plough to speak, Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam said: "It was observed that the PistenBully [snow plough] was starting to roll."
Renner tried to get back into the vehicle, but it rolled over him in front of horrified relatives.

Renner has remained in the Intensive Care Unit ever since.
The actor, who was left in a critical condition following the accident, needed two surgeries to place metal pins around his leg.
He reportedly woke up on Tuesday and began speaking.

The call log, obtained by TMZ, states that Renner could be heard moaning in the background of the phone call, and that blood was pouring from his head.
Among the injuries the actor suffered, the right side of his chest reportedly collapsed, while his upper torso was completely crushed.

According to officials, Renner had been operating the equipment near his Lake Tahoe area home in order to clear a path for family that had been visiting for the holidays.
The area had just faced a harrowing New Years' Eve storm where some parts received a whopping three feet of snow, according to local outlets.
Multiple cars were abandoned on Mt Rose Highway which was closed due to unsafe conditions.
Reno Mayor Hillary Shieve previously told the Reno Gazette-Journal on Monday night: "He was helping someone stranded in the snow. He is always helping others."
A number of major Hollywood names have sent the actor their best wishes.
Chris Hemsworth, who first starred alongside Renner in 2011's blockbuster "Thor", commented under his Instagram post: "Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way!"
Captain America actor Chris Evans also commented on the hospital-bed selfie, writing: "Tough as nails. Love you buddy."
US chat show host Jimmy Fallon wrote: "Lotsa love out there for you bud."
While British actor Paul Bettany, who voices J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Iron Man and Avengers films, commented: "Love you mate. Sending you love and healing."
