Naga Munchetty, 49, admits that she usually likes to breeze down the pavement in a speedy manner before she appears alongside Charlie Stayt, 61.

She explained: "I am a very quick walker, I'm fit, I'm healthy. Fortunately I have a long stride and I like to get where I'm going, [a] purposeful walk."

But the BBC Breakfast personality admitted that she is unable to walk how she usually likes, due to a horrible injury she has been hiding.

She explained: "At this moment I'm injured. My foot is injured and I've had to walk very very slow

As he asked how she injured her foot, the star had the assembled studio audience in hysterics with how it was sustained.

"No, I injured it by kicking someone who gave me unsolicited advice."

"So it was very bad for about six weeks, I've been limping and walking."

However, the TV and radio personality has opened up on the effect this has on her day to day life as she gets to and from work.

"If I am walking slowly and I'm guessing the tube to work or the bus or whatever.

"When you get off and especially in London when you get off the tube people are in a hurry. Yes, and I'm usually one of those people."

This was with the format of the show she appeared on, where people get to rant about the things they hate most in the world.

After explaining her injury, she admitted that she in fact hates slow walkers, if they are walking in the middle of everyone else and are proving a disruption to those who stride in a brisk pace.

Naga explained: "I know I'm very slow, so I walk to the side of the stairs. I go to the side of the stairs and walk slowly so everyone else can walk. I don't walk in the middle of the walkway.

"And this is why I've caveated this with my injury because if you are injured or you're elderly or you find it difficult to walk that is absolutely fine.

"Don't walk in the middle of the pavement don't inconvenience everyone else who's trying to get on with their business."

She added: "Can you feel how irate I'm getting?

"Just be considerate, it is not against the law, or even any moral code to walk slowly.

"But it should be against the law to inconvenience other people because you are a slow walker."
