Tensions began to simmer as Moira stood up and said to Cain: "Grow up will you?
"Do you really think I've got time for all of this?"
A screaming match soon ensured as Moira insisted once again that he was "weak and pathetic" as Cain began to bark back: "Don't start!"
In scary scenes, they edged closer to one another as Amy looked on deeply concerned.

As Moira branded him a "drunk", she made reference to his alcoholic father as she said: "Huh, Shadrach would be pleased!"
Exploding in fury, Cain slammed his hand against the door as he appeared to lunge at his wife before Amy furiously shouted: "Stop! What are you doing?"
As Cain stood angrily staring at Moira, she asked him: "Oh, what do you want to do?
"Do you wanna hit me Cain like the rest of your family?
"You are all so handy with your fists, aren't you?"
She got all up in his face as she remarked: "Go on then, do it?"
The explosive scenes appeared to hint at a potentially violent twist in their marriage which is hanging on by a thread.
It would be the second domestic abuse plot as Tom King continues to coercively control Belle and subject her to his vile ways.
Emmerdale fans have already begged for the storyline between Belle and Tom to come to an end amid its harrowing nature.
