FAMILIES heading to Legoland Windsor can stretch the fun of their trip beyond the theme park by staying in a Lego-themed holiday home right next to the attraction.

The home in Windsor was newly refurbished for this year and is just minutes away from the park, making it perfect for any Lego-themed getaways.

Known simply as the Lego House, the home has been kitted out and decorated with Lego throughout, with plenty of places for kids to get creative with the building blocks.

The home's host Daniel wrote on its booking website: "Our designed space invites guests of all ages to embark on a journey of creativity and fun.

"Our house provides the ultimate canvas for your Lego adventures.

"Unleash your inner architect as you design, build, and explore in this one-of-a-kind retreat."

The rooms are themed with both a Lego Batman cave and a regular Lego room for kids to choose from.

Meanwhile, there's also a simple master bedroom where Lego has been kept "to a minimum" so adults can get a break from the colourful bricks when it's bed time.

Downstairs, the living room is designed for the whole family, with more Lego decoration found alongside places for people to relax and unwind after a busy day at Legoland.

There's also a special play area with its own Lego play table, which is filled with Lego.

There are also comfy bean bags and Lego boxes meaning kids will have plenty of bricks to play with.

What's more, the play area is visible from the living room, meaning parents can keep an eye on youngsters while chilling out in front of the TV.

Parents can make the most of the home's highspeed WIFI, smart TVs and a poker table with cards and chips.

There's also a vending machine in the home, which is a fun way for guests to enjoy snacks after working up an appetite walking around the theme park.

Meanwhile, each of the beds have memory foam mattresses, goose down duvets and while there are extra blankets and duvets.

The Lego Home is found seven minutes away from Legoland, making it a fun base for visits to Windsor, with the castle also within walking distance.

One previous guest wrote on Booking.com: "Absolute 10/10 on everything, great communication with owner throughout, clean, only seven minutes from Legoland, spacious and comfortable.

"Ideal for families and very exciting for the younger ones.

"Vending machine was a fun bonus (kids loved it and cheap). Really convenient and I couldn’t recommend it enough."

Another former guest added: "There were lots of cute Lego touches throughout the house. It’s very close to Legoland and Windsor Castle.

"My kids enjoyed the vending machine and the Lego."

A night in the house can be booked from £250, for a family of six, including two adults and four children.

For the same number of people, a stay at Legoland costs from around £560, although it does include park tickets.

Meanwhile, this is what it's like to go on the brand new rollercoaster that opened at Legoland this year.

And this is how film fans can book to stay in the house from Up.
