The comedy series focusing on a mixed group serving their community sentence has ran since 2021, with the finale of the third season airing this week.
Writing on Twitter, Stephen revealed to fans that the final episode of season three would be the last that viewers would see of the gang.

"This may be the end of the road for now but what a journey it’s been. All episodes of series 1-3 are on @BBCiPlayer and @PrimeVideo."
Fans have responded to the post, as one person shared: "Such a great show, shame it’s on hold for now, but you guys have deffo left so much room for the characters to evolve if there were more."

The series follows seven strangers from different walks of life who are forced together to complete a Community Payback sentence, set in Bristol.
Starring co-creator Stephen Merchant as well as Rhianne Barreto, Jessica Gunning, Eleanor Tomlinson, Gamba Cole, Christopher Walken and Darren Boyd.
Speaking to Deadline, co-creator Stephen Merchant explained: "I am so pleased it’s run this long.
"I’ve enjoyed the cast, filming in my hometown of Bristol and dropping into this genre.
"It ticks a lot of boxes for me in terms of what I wanted to do with it.”
The comedian also joked that it would be hard to continue the series after season three, as he pointed out "you have to wonder how long people do community service for".
The series has reached an average of over three million viewers per episode since it first aired in 2021.
