He caught up with his sister, Judith, who has recently moved from the UK to live on the island.

Together, they explore a high altitude coffee farm before Clive heads off to meet descendants of the Maroon community that made this area their home.

The Mastermind host also learnt the secrets of making authentic Jamaican jerk pork before spending a peaceful evening 100 feet above the waves of the Caribbean Sea.

But viewers were left heartbroken during emotional scenes between the siblings as Judith revealed what it was really like being left behind when their father followed their mother to England as part of the Windrush Generation in 1962.

Judith began "hundreds of thousands of others" had travelled to England to further their financial opportunities and be better able to provide for their children.

The pair discussed how most migrants intended to eventually return to the Caribbean, and that the move had originally been a "five-year plan".

However, their parents never returned to be reunited with their children.

Instead, they called for her to leave her grandmother's home and join them in the UK.

A shocked Clive said: "Leaving Jamaica and grandma to start again in Britain!" as Judith's eyes filled with tears.

Judith revealed: "It was traumatic on so many levels... school was horrendous and the food! Yes [I wanted to go home]."

A shocked Clive said: "I didn't know you were pining, I didn't know any of that!"

Judith replied: "Well, you wouldn't - you were two years younger than me!"

Judith recently moved back to Jamaica with her husband, after years spent in Bolton.

Clive asked his sister what she recommends doing while he is in Jamaica.

She suggested to "do something cultural" and to check out the nation's famous "authentic jerk chicken".

Later, Clive found his way to Boston Bay, the birthplace of the legendary cuisine, and tried his hand at cooking his own.

Clive Myrie's Caribbean Adventure is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
