LOVE Island is losing so many couples producers should look into fitting a revolving door.

Tonight, axed stars Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda announced the next couple to be axed.

They revealed that viewers would be saying goodbye to Claudia Fogarty and Keanan Brand.

Olivia said it had been an agonising choice, saying: “This has been a really difficult decision for both of us.

"Do you keep a couple in that could potentially rebuild a flame? Do you keep a boy and a girl that haven't had enough time in here?

"It’s been very difficult to make this decision. There’s so many options we could have gone for."

Then, prompted for their choice, she said: "Keanan and Claudia."

She was then seen mouthing the word: "Sorry." Claudia mouthed back: "Really."

The four of them were all required to leave the Love Island villa and the show immediately.

Maya said: "Olivia and Maxwell, Claudia and Keanan, you have all been dumped from the island. Please say your goodbyes."

Viewers had anticipated Claudia and Keanan would be in the firing line ever since Olivia was handed the power to axe two co-stars.

One star tweeted, referring to their recent run-in: "Claudia is regretting opening her mouth to Olivia - babe just get your bags packed."

She and Maxwell were in a 'bottom four' of couples that had been judged least compatible by the public.

That meant after they were dumped, the pair had to choose from the remaining three - Claudia and Keanan, Rosie Seabrook and Casey O'Gorman and Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad.

Love Island's pre-final clearout is well under way after Maya Jama confirmed the date of the show's final.

Backing up The Sun's story last month, the host explained in a video: "The Love Island final is going to be on - drumroll please - Monday 13 March on ITV2 and ITVX.

"It's going to be major, you don't want to miss it. I will see you then!"
