DANCING On Ice finalist The Vivienne was left in agony after suffering another nasty fall just days ahead of the live final.

The Sun can reveal the drag queen had been working hard to perfect their routine on Thursday morning before going down hard on the ice.

To make matters worse, The Vivienne, whose real name is James Lee Williams, landed on the same knee that she damaged during last weekend's Dancing On Ice Semi Finals.

Concerned medics were quick to check Viv over before rehearsals were cut short.

A source said: "Injuries are to be expected this far into the competition but Viv's knee is turning into a bit of a nightmare.

"Thursday's rehearsal was going really well up until she lost her balance and her knee buckled while trying to perfect her routine.

"She hit the ice hard and land like she did on last week's show - going down on the same knee.

"Luckily she is fine but has been told to rest and ice up to help relieve the swelling and pain.

"There is a really real fear that the injury will keep reoccurring meaning her final skates will be a lot harder.

"Vivienne is a fighter and taking it all in her stride. She is determined to pull off a spectacular performance."

During Sunday's Semi final fans of The Vivienne were were gutted after the TV favourite stacked it partway through her performance.

Despite going down hard, ever a pro, Viv quickly got up to continue - though was seen grimacing as she did.

She had been performing to Paul McCartney's 1973 James Bond classic Live and Let Die.

Keen to check she was ok, co-host Phillip Schofield made sure to ask The Vivienne if she was in paid.

Viv replied: "My knees are hurting a bit, but I'm fine. We're dancing on ice, things happen."

Nodding, Phillip replied: "That's live skating for you!"

The Vivienne will take on TOWIE star and TV regular Joey Essex in Sunday's live final as well as British Gymnast Nile Wilson.
