JEREMY Vine star Storm Huntley has been bombarded with vile messages from trolls after posting a ‘mum hair’ selfie.

Storm, 36, has never been afraid to hit out at online trolls in the past, revealing back in February that one had questioned if she was pregnant again after posting a picture of her outfit.

But despite her boldly standing up to her trolls, the presenter has continued to be picked on by the vile keyboard warriors.

Storm recently posted a fun picture of her dark hair tied up in a messy bun and joked: "There are many styles of Mum hair … this is just one example. Don’t all rush out and get it all at once!"

But despite the jovial post, some still felt the need to try and tear her down, with one writing: "Storm looks similar when trying to host on Jeremy Vine. She always has and does look scruffy."

Another vile message read: "Absolutely rubbish on JV. Worst presenter on TV. She can't string a sentence. Some people shouldn't be on TV."

Meanwhile a third cruelly posted: "She looks even worse on telly."

Storm took the high road and didn't respond to the negativity, but back in February she unsurprisingly wasn't able to hold her tongue.

The mum-of-one shared a nap of her outfit on her Instagram story - a stunning baby yellow dress with matching heels.

But, in doing so, she received a lot more than praise on her fashion taste.

During the next day's Jeremy Vine instalment, Storm revealed a troll had sent her an intrusive message on the platform.

"Pregnant again?", the social media user asked alongside a baby emoji.

Storm shared a screenshot of the message with Channel 5 viewers before sharing her thoughts.

"I thought I looked lovely", she first said, "I posted that on Instagram so [viewers] could know where to purchase that dress."

Storm was at a loss for words but managed to clap back: "I can't articulate enough how inappropriate."

"I bet you were trying to be nice, I assume it came from a good place, I'm going to take that stance and be optimistic about it", she continued.

However, the woman's comment led her to one conclusion: "I'm not pregnant, so what you've told me is that I'm fat."

"I am on a weight loss journey so what you've told me is it's not working."

"You have absolutely no idea what's going on, maybe I'm trying to get pregnant but struggling."

"Maybe I'm having a miscarriage as you're messaging me and it's going to be incredibly hurtful."

She then quipped: "and also, if I was pregnant, Mary from Birmingham - why on earth would you think you'd be the first person I'd tell?"

Jeremy Vine airs weekdays from 9.15am on Channel 5.
