LOVE Island star Aaron Waters has revealed a family tragedy that occurred when he was in the villa this year, but his family banned the show from telling him.
The bombshell, who originally took part on Love Island Australia, entered the show to stir up trouble, but became part of a brutal double dumping.
Since his villa exit, the Aussie hunk opened up on his experience in a podcast and revealed his brother had a heart attack while he was taking part in the series.
Asked how it felt getting his phone back, Aaron said: “The main thing was coming out and finding out that my eldest brother had a heart attack and had surgery and got rushed to hospital.
“My family were distraught. My mum has been through a lot, especially over my lifetime, and her trying to deal with that was hard.

“I feel like coming out and finding that out was the worst thing for me because they didn’t want to tell me while I was in there.”
Aaron continued: “When I came out I was like ‘wow.’ He’s going to be on medication for the rest of his life.
“I have three older brothers and I just think we’re all going to be healthy and so it really hit me and hit all of my family. That’s why I went home straight away to see them.
“If he’d died that night, I wouldn’t have been able to say goodbye. I actually missed his call before I went into the villa because my phone was being taken off me.”
Aaron failed to find love during his time on the show, and speaking after leaving the villa, Aaron said: "I had a tough time finding a connection in there, but everything happens for a reason.
"Looking back on my time, I’m proud that I didn’t force anything and my friends know damn well that I’m picky and that I am very selective with who I want to get to know and share a life with.
"As a whole, it was throwing myself in the deep end once again returning to Love Island, being my complete authentic self. I was being unapologetically myself."
