UNIVERSITY Challenge viewers were left double-taking at the captain of one of the teams during the latest episode.
Fans of the hit BBC Two quiz, fronted by Jeremy Paxman, pointed out that the team captain of Newnham Collage, Cambridge had not one but two celebrity lookalikes.

Whilst it was undeniable that the team had impeccable knowledge, fans could not help but be distracted by team captain Roma Ellis.
The philosophy student from Nottingham led the team to an eye-popping score of 215, a huge 100 points ahead of their competitors.

One of the famous faces that fans couldn't stop comparing Roma to was Nothing Compares 2 U singer Sinead O'Connor.
Sharing a GIF of the performer, one viewer wrote online: "Ellis to sing out the show."
Another made reference to Sinead's hit track as they penned: "Ellis is a great captain. All I’ll say is ….. Nothing compares 2 U."
As well as Sinead, fans were quick to also point out Roma's striking resemblance to Billions star Asia Kate Dillon and their character on the show Taylor Mason.
One fan said: "Ellis from Newnham - Cambridge is obviously bright as a button and a dead ringer for Asia Kate Dillon AKA Taylor Mason from the tv show #Billions #UniversityChallenge."

Newnham Associates were quick to share their congratulations to the team following their win as they declared online after the epic episode: "You entertained and did us proud."
