The beloved comedian, 53, is world's away from her iconic Laura Cooper character for her new BBC show.
Catherine will become a member of the - fictional - Royal Family as she plays a controversial figurehead in The Queen of Oz.
A first-look image released by the Beeb gives fans a tease of what to expect from Tate's character.
