Who is the Eurovision commentator for the UK?

Scott Mills and Rylan Clark return to the commentary booth to cover all of the Eurovision semi-final action for the BBC.

Starting on the musical extravaganza in 2011, Scott has returned to provide analysis on the show every year since.

Rylan first joined Scott in 2018, and has been at his side every subsequent year aside from 2021.

Is Graham Norton still commenting on Eurovision?

Fear not, Graham will be back to commentate on the Eurovision grand finale.

This means audiences watching from home will still be treated to his thoughts on the acts the same as every other year.

On The One Show on Friday, May 3, Graham confirmed that Absolutely Fabulous icon Joanna Lumley will be the UK spokesperson at this year's competition — meaning she has been chosen to give out the UK's 12 points on the big night.

It's such a fabulous honour to give the iconic 'douze points'!

It will be the first time that the actress has been involved with Eurovision.

Graham said: “I hope this goes better than the last Eurovision announcement I made on this show,” in reference to two years ago when he accidentally spoiled which city Eurovision 2023 would be held in.

He added: “How has she not done it before? It’s so perfect.”

Dame Joanna said: "I am delighted to be announcing the jury vote for the UK at this year's Eurovision.

"It's such a fabulous honour to give the iconic 'douze points'!"

Who is presenting Eurovision 2024?

Hosting the night live from the Malmo Arena, Sweden are Malin Akerman and Petra Meade.

Malin, 45, is a Swedish former model, actress and presenter who is married to British actor Jack Donnelly.

Commenting on hosting Eurovision, Malin said: "I can’t really describe my feelings about this.

"I am very excited and a little nervous, but in a positive way.

"I have always liked Eurovision and to be a part of this fantastic show together with Petra is a dream come true.

"Additionally, Petra is one of the funniest women I’ve ever met."

Her co-host Petra, 54, is a comedian, dancer, actress and TV presenter who is also a native of Sweden.

It isn't Petra's first time at Eurovision — she hosted the show back in 2016.

Talking about being back, she said: "Imagine getting the chance to host Eurovision once again! It's such an incredible honour.

"After first hosting it alone and then together with the delightful Måns by my side, I am now really looking forward to working with Malin.

"We don't know each other from before, but we have met a couple of times now, and I'm already completely sold.

"It's going to be a joy to work with her!"
