Jan returns to work

Jan is back to work but things are awkward between her and Sah.

They arrive at a beach, where they treat refugees Fayez and Amal who were washed up by the sea.

They believe to be father and daughter.

Jan and Sah tend to Christy, who claims she forgot to pay before she collapsed outside a supermarket.

Jan spots Christy stealing Sah's wallet and questions why Sah is so happy to give a thief the benefit of the doubt but not her.

Sah accuses Jan of acting like nothing has happened since returning to work.

Jan storms to the ambulance station and discovers Fayez stealing supplies while treating a nasty injury.

Jan contemplates reporting Fayez - but is moved by his story.

He's a doctor who fled his country from conscription, and is trying to find his wife.

Sah realises what's going on and angrily tells Fayez to take responsibility and be honest with Amal about her parents.

Jan resonates with this and later makes amends with Sah.

Dylan has a breakthrough

Dylan is still investigating Willco House care home after a wave of elderly patients in the ED.

He orders everyone to put on PPE while they try to figure out the progression of the neurological and physiological symptoms.

But he is suspicious when Willco House care home manager advises him to leave Mrs Dolma alone, claiming that she often gets distressed.

Dylan and Faith grow frustrated after no leads in the investigation and worry the patients will deteriorate.

But Dylan notices that Paul is ill and is developing similar symptoms to the residents, having eaten some food sprinkled with their herbs.

He asks Mrs Dolma where she found her 'seasoning', and learns that it came from the care home garden.

Dylan figures out the residents are suffering from aconite poisoning, and he identifies an antidote.

But he makes another concerning discovery when he confronts the care home manager about the welfare of her residents.

Dylan tells Faith that he believes this isn't just neglect, but also abuse. What will he do about it?

Stevie makes a discovery

Stevie is shocked to hear she's got a handful of bad reviews online.

As she scrolls through them, she wonders if Jonty is responsible, but realises he has deleted his online presence.

Faith points out that given the specificity of the reviews, they must have been left by someone who works with Stevie and knows her.

After confronting Paige over the reviews, a shaken Stevie asks Marcus if he can get them taken down.

She's grateful when he agrees, and is even more relieved when Marcus assures her they can still be friends.

However, after Stevie leaves, Marcus's intentions become clear when he leaves another bad review about her.

He's the person responsible - but will he get caught?

Casualty airs these scenes on Saturday 21st January on BBC One at 9pm.
