Netflix’s new limited series based on the Stanford twin theory followed four sets of twins as they changed their lifestyle choices, diets, and exercise routines.

The eight-week science experiment was designed to explore how certain foods impact the body.

The synopsis reads: “Identical twins join a scientific study and must stick to either a plant-based or omnivorous diet for eight weeks to determine what is the healthiest.”

Taking to X(Twitter) after watching the series, viewers expressed their opinions about the show on the social media platform.

One user penned: "You Are What You Eat on Netflix was mind-bogglingly good. Like actually making me want to consider going fully vegan."

Another added: "Watching You Are What You Eat on Netflix… and am now seriously considering eating little to no red meat from now on,"

A third wrote: “Watching You Are What You Eat on Netflix and it’s making me rethink my whole life. I’m so grateful we found a local farm to get our meat and produce from. It’s all so scary."

A fourth admitted: “Ngl, after seeing the background on these farms who supply the beef and chicken, etc, I’m much more open to trying a vegan diet.”

A fifth person confessed: "Watching You Are What You Eat on Netflix, and I suddenly am about to be vegan."

You Are What You Eat: The Twin Experiment was released just in time for Veganuary this year.

The series, which displayed a rundown of the main benefits of a vegan diet, sees one member out of each set of twins following an omnivorous diet - continuing to eat meat, fish, dairy and vegetables while their identical sibling alternatively follows a totally different animal-free diet.

Within weeks, it became evident that those siblings following a plant-based diet saw the harmful fat surrounding their organs, called visceral fat, reduced significantly, while those who continued to eat meat and fish experienced a small increase in their body's visceral fat.

The participant on a vegan diet also had significantly lower LDL ('bad') cholesterol compared to their meat-eating twin.

It was also proven that the vegan siblings lost, on average, 4.2 pounds (1.9kg) more than the omnivores in this impressive experiment.

Elsewhere, Jose Mourinho has recently revealed that he is the subject of a brand new Netflix documentary - but reckons fans will think he's an 'idiot'.

The 60-year-old is one of the most decorated managers in football, with two Champions League titles, three Premier League titles, an FA Cup, two Serie A titles and a La Liga title among his accolades, Mourinho.

Jose broke the news about his new series following Roma's 2-1 Copa Italia win over Cremonese on Wednesday.
