Laura Anderson told fans she has 'tried everything' to 'make her family work' after confirming her split with Gary Lucy.
The Love Island star, 34, is mum to her adorable daughter Bonnie, whom she gave birth to last September and shares with ex-Gary. Laura and Gary have had an on-off relationship since meeting on Celebs Go Dating back in 2022. The pair announced their break up in February 2023, shortly after Laura had revealed she was pregnant with their first child.
Despite mutually going their separate ways, last year, Laura revealed that she and Gary had agreed to co-parent their seven-month-old daughter, before hinting they had reconciled again before Christmas.
In a post to her Instagram page on Sunday, the 34-year-old mum-of-one shared a heartfelt clip that captured her bonding with her tot, as she held Bonnie up to stand on her feet. She candidly captioned the video: "One moment you're in the trenches of the newborn and postpartum phase. And then suddenly things click with your new little human and you catch yourself wishing time would stand still."

Responding to the messages, Laura confessed she is "no longer" able to hide the truth, and revealed she has been raising her daughter on her own. She penned: "I did everything I could to make my family work, fool me. There’s no cryptic posts anymore I'm fed up hiding the truth. Is what it is."
Gary was last pictured with Laura and their daughter in December after they had spent Christmas together as a family. The snaps showed the trio visiting Santa Claus.
Recently, Laura spoke out about the challenges she faces being a solo parent and wanting to be a good mum to Bonnie. She told the Mirror: "I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn't what I expected. But that's the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I'm going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I'm a really good mum, to be honest."
The former flight attendant - who appeared on Love Island back in 2018 - went on to joke that the tot was her "brainpower". She said: "She's great, your social life does a take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that." Reflecting on how she maintains a hectic work schedule with a young one, she credits organisation.
