SHAMELESS star Tina Malone has confirmed that her husband Paul Chase tragically passed away aged 42 this morning.
In a post on social media, the 61-year-old actress said she is "totally devastated and heartbroken".
Grief-stricken Tina wrote on X: "It’s with total heartbreak I write this my husband Paul chase Malone passed away this morning we are totally devastated."
The post was flooded with messages of support and well-wishes from devastated fans.
One posted: "So sorry to hear this Tina sending my love to you and your family."

Another wrote: "I’m so so sorry, Tina. I’m so sorry for your loss. I was in the army with Paul, top man."
And a third supporter commented: "Tina I am so sorry to hear this, sending you all my love and condolences."
Tina and Paul married for the first time in 2010 after dating for two years, and welcomed daughter Flame when Tina was 50 years old.
Last year, the actress told Closer: "Paul and I still have so much passion, after 13 years you know each other so well.
“He still gives me butterflies!”
Tina, who played Mimi Maguire in Shameless, also announced in 2020 their relationship was back on track after a brief time apart and revealed the "love never went away".
She said: "The love never went away, we're working on things now, our problems were compounded by depression but I learned that in tough times you have to pull together and not apart."
The actress previously announced she wanted to become a mum again with Paul when she was 54.

Tina planned on using a surrogate to have the baby, and previously told The Sunday People: “Some will say I am selfish and irresponsible for having another child at 54.
“They will moralise and abuse me – even more so for selecting the sex of our baby – and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
“But I don’t give two f***s for what they think.”
Tina also has another daughter named Danielle from a previous relationship.
Opening up about their decision to use a surrogate, Tina admitted Paul would not let her risk her life for another child.
When pregnant with Flame, Tina developed pre-eclampsia.
Paul said at the time: “I couldn’t let Tina risk another pregnancy. Flame and I love her too much.”
