SEVERAL beloved BBC shows have been pulled off air as the corporation appear to air it's coverage of Glastonbury.

The corporation has made a huge shake-up in its schedule this week as the annual Worthy Farm festival makes a return.

The likes of Elton John, Arctic Monkeys, Lizzo and Lana Del Ray, are set to perform at the highly publicised music extravaganza.

Other star names who are set to perform also include Blondie, Guns N' Roses, Lil Nas X, Carly Rae Jepsen, Becky Hill, Raye and Aitch.

But whilst the BBC is set to air more than 40 hours of coverage presented by the likes of Clara Amfo, Jack Saunders and Jo Whiley, other shows have been moved.

Other names on the TV and Radio team to take to the airwaves will include Craig Charles, Dermot O’Leary, Jordan North, Lauren Laverne, Pete Tong, Vick Hope, and Zoe Ball.

The coverage of the festival will begin at 7:30pm on Friday 23rd June, meaning the weekly edition of Gardener's World will not be airing.

Monty Don will not return to the airwaves with a new episode until Friday 30th June at 9 pm as The Arctic Monkey's will take to the stage as the first headlines in the week before.

On Saturday 24th June, coverage begins at 5pm, meaning the weekly edition of Hidden Treasures of the National Trust will not be shown.

The factual programme usually airs around 4:25 pm will be replaced with coverage of the second day of the festival.

On Sunday 25th June, episodes of fan favourite shows will air earlier than usual, to make way for the coverage which starts at 6pm on BBC Two.

The Great British Sewing Bee is usually seen after 5pm, but an episode will instead be shown at 2:35pm.

Stanley Tucci's beloved series Searching for Italy usually airs after 6pm, but it will instead be watched by viewers at 4:30 pm whilst Flog It! will air 15 minutes later than it's usual time slot at precisely 5 pm.
